Following up on the Guild Wars update a few weeks ago, Netmarble has just released another for the Seven Nights Idol adventure, this time bringing a fun contribution to the mobile RPG. Characters from their sister game, King of Fighters ’98, will be added to the Seven Knights universe with some in-game events to make it easier to get new heroes.
The Seven Knights Idle Adventure x The King of Fighters’98 collab event will feature two powerful characters from the franchise – Kyo Kusanagi and Mai Shiranui. The former is a melee-type legendary hero with an active skill that increases the critical hit rate on enemies that take damage. If the enemy burns during a critical attack, the damage increases further.
Similarly, Mai is also a melee-type legendary hero, capable of reducing the evasion of many enemies as well as increasing the ally burn debuff. She can also increase her critical hit rate when attacking opponents. Both of these characters will be available until May 29th, so be sure to unlock them with the KOF ’98 Collab Challenger Pass before then.

There are some events with these heroes that will be live until the end of the month. The first is a special rate-up event for the KOF ’98 collab. As you’d expect, this significantly increases your chances of getting one of the new characters for the duration of the event.
The special check-in event is a great way to get yourself a lot of freebies over a two-week period. You can win Mai Shiranui on the first day, while Kyu Kusanagi will be available by the fourth day. Additionally, Collab Hero Selection tickets will be offered on seven, ten and fourteen days.
