Events
Season 9 Community Weekend
- From September 30 to October 2 (10am UTC), all pirates can set sail and join our final community weekend with goodies to earn, Twitch Drops to claim, and the introduction of Pop-Up Plunder.
- As always, increase the Community Emissary Grade (this time by tuning the streamers into the sea of thieves category on Twitch) will unlock gold, reputation, renown, and loyalty boosts for all players.

Problems solved
How to play
- Reaper’s Bones Emissary Flags can no longer be sold to Sovereigns.
- Migrating between servers with a damaged mast will no longer cause pirates to stutter when moving around the ship deck.
- If a pirate harpoons treasure on the ship during a Lost Shipments voyage but does not move it, the treasure will no longer disappear when the voyage ends.
- Burying and recovering treasure that was already on your ship will no longer display an additional “Treasure on board ship” notification.
‘The trip to Mêlée Island’
- Players returning to this Tall Tale from a checkpoint will now see the correct prompts and notifications while playing it.
Visual and Audiovisual
- Snakes that have been charmed will no longer appear to move away from the player.
- Pirates should now appear correctly when seen drinking from a jug.
- When voting in the Hourglass of Destiny, the correct faction daggers should now be consistently displayed.
- The Flaming Jackal’s Eye of Reach scope is now properly opaque.
- Pirates aiming the Paradise Garden pistol will now find that the shots line up more consistently with the tip of the barrel.
- Mad Monkey Cannons will now remain static on deck when a pirate is inside.
- Larger pirates with the Elaine costume equipped will no longer see the tie when jumping and running.
- The Mad Monkey ship shield will now display the correct background when equipped with the Lodestar hull.
- Pirates’ hands no longer intersect with the Duke Wheel when equipped.
- The Flaming Jackal compass now has the correct orientation when viewed in the equipment chest.
- Pirates using the Ashen Dragon Silk Gloves should no longer see stretching around their hands.
- LeChuck’s costume set now properly fits all pirate sizes.
- After equipping a fishing rod in the Tunnels of the Damned, the float and fishing line no longer disappear.
- Pirates who drink from the Mysterious Stranger’s flagon will no longer drink invisible grog.
Atmosphere
- Pirates should no longer get stuck in the trees on the Flintlock Peninsula.
Performance and stability
- Continuous improvements have been made to server stability to reduce instances of players being disconnected from their session.
