For the CES 2023, Samsung has prepared several new computer monitors that feature original features. For example, the new version of the newer-styled Odyssey Neo G9 (a 49-inch model that became famous for its curved appearance in 2021) is positioned as a super wide curved display and has a screen diagonal of 57 inches.

The device based on Mini-LED technology supports a resolution of 76802160 pixels (3:9). The horizontal dot count corresponds to 8K UHDTV standard, while the vertical dot count corresponds to 4K. It’s also noted that this is one of the first gaming monitors to support the DisplayPort 2.1 interface. And yet, the novelty provides a refresh of images in the sphere of 240 Hz. Unfortunately, the specifications and price of the 57-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 monitor are not available. The device has been on sale this year.

Support for a HDR True Black 400 has been announced, with a peak brightness of up to 400 nits. The monitor is designed to connect to gaming platforms and games; it also supports the Samsung gaming hub. This allows you to connect a wireless controller and play game consoles with cloud providers like Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia’s GeForce Now. In addition to Smart Hub support, you can find smart TV apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and more. This monitor supports 3 liters of weight up to 6 kg. The Samsung Odyssey G95SC gaming monitor is scheduled for sale later this year at an uninseparable price.
Since I’m working on a monitor, Samsung has a 5K ViewFinity S9 model. This device weighs 27 pounds, has a IPS panel and a matte finish. The monitor has a resolution of five120 2880 pixels. It is capable of reproducing 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Support for HDR600. For connecting signals, there’s a connector for HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and DisplayPort. You can rotate a portrait view screen. The monitor comes pre-installed with Tizen TV OS so that users can access streaming applications even without connecting the external signal sources. This package includes a 4K webcam that can be used for conferences. The software can zoom and track the object in front of the camera. The Samsung Optical Speed S9 monitor can charge an AA-600 laptop with an energy capacity of up to 96W. The novelty should come on sale at the beginning of the year, but prices haven’t yet been reported.
