Pokemon Go has been out for a long time, but the game is still being added and updated every month. Along with catching many variations of your favorite Pokemon, you can battle others, hatch eggs, send gifts, and more in Pokemon Go. The game even has community days, centered around specific Pokémon, and plenty of quests for you to explore. In this article, we are going to focus on raids in Pokemon Go.

    What are Pokemon Go Raids?

Raids in Pokemon Go When a certain Pokemon takes over a gym. It doesn’t matter which team is currently in that gym or which Pokémon are living there. Pokemon in Gyms will be suspended, so players will not be able to see or interact with them while the Raid is in progress. Instead, a larger version of certain Pokemon in the raid will be displayed above the gym.

Sometimes, Mega Raids may also appear, which is similar to a regular raid, but the Pokémon inside the gym is Mega Evolved.

    How can I find raids?

You can find raids by looking around the map or by selecting the Pokemon Nearby banner (at the bottom, right of the screen) and then swiping on Raids. In this section, you can see all local raids scheduled nearby. Some raids will have eggs on them showing when they will appear, while other, ongoing raids will show how long until they end and what Pokemon are there. Both types of notifications will show monster faces below them, indicating how difficult the raid is. The more faces there are, the more people are willing to take it.

How do I enter a raid?

There are three ways to enter a Raid. If you’re within spinning distance of a gym (so you can spin a stop), you can fight the gym normally, but use a Raid Pass to enter, which you’ll need to play in this raid. There will be a ticket. You can invite up to 5 friends to fight with you. If you’re looking at local raids that you’re not really close enough to circle the stop, you can use the Remote Red Pass to enter. You can also invite up to 5 Pokemon Go friends to join the raid. If you have a friend who is nearby or in a remote raid, they can invite you to join their raid. You are unable to invite any of your friends to this raid, as you are already a plus one.

    What about previous raids?

Ex Raids are the rarest type of raid. These raids are invite-only in ex-Jammu. Gyms will have a little EX GYM label next to their name, to indicate that it can be raided. These gyms are often sponsored or in large parks. If you complete a raid in an EX Gym, you may have a chance to be called back to catch a Legendary Pokemon. You can also invite any of your ultra friends to join you.

EX Raids often have a themed, Legendary Pokemon or an Exclusive Move that can be obtained through them, however, the Pokemon will be added to the Raid rotation approximately one year after the Ex Gym. Previously, Mewtwo, Deoxys and Regigigas have appeared in Ex Raids. Currently, the active Pokémon in Ex Raids are Regigigas.

How do I get Red Passes?

There are three types of passes: remote read passes and read passes. You can purchase Remote Raid Passes in the in-game shop. They cost 100 PokeCoins for one or 300 PokeCoins for three. You can also sometimes find them in special boxes inside the store. For orange (default) red passes, you can spin a gym stop once a day to get one, as long as you don’t currently have one in your inventory. During select times, this can be increased to two Raid Passes per day by spinning. Premium Red Passes are just like Orange Red Passes, however, you can buy more of them. You can also use them in Pokemon Trainer Battles.

To get Ex Raid Passes, you will need to participate in many raids. The more raids you do, the more likely you are to get an Ex Raid Pass. You can increase your chances by earning a Gold Gym Badge at an Ex Raid Gym, completing a large, unspecified number of Raid Battles, and raiding an Ex Raid Gym with 20 or more other players in the previous week. are

How do I get more pokeballs in raids?

When you complete a raid, you get a chance to catch the Pokemon you’re battling against. You won’t be using your Pokeballs to do this, but instead will be using a limited number of Premier Balls. You can earn more Premier Balls by being the highest damage user in battle, finishing raids faster, and having friends in your raid. You’ll get a bonus ball from each friend you make in a raid, and stronger friends will give you more balls.
