A new star reportedly joined the spin-off series Agatha: Coven of Chaos, with Deadline reporting three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone is part of the Disney+ show.
The legendary actress will join a already impressive cast with Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, and Sasheer Zamata, and the returning Kathryn Hahn and Emma Caulfield Ford from WandaVision. He has no idea who LuPone will play yet, but Deadline noted that he might be one of the witches in the town of Agathas.
As well as her work in the musical theater industry, LuPone won three Tony Awards and appeared in some famous Broadway plays including Evita, Les Miserables, The Cradle Will Rock, and many more. LuPone has won two Olivier, and two Grammys in the theater. Next to LuPone, a role will play in the horror film ‘Meria is Infuriated’.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos, which was officially announced on Disney Day 2021. She turns herWanda Visionrole into Agatha Harkness, who was among the characters of Elizabeth Olsen’s series, and who exposed Wanda’s real potential as a Scarlet Witch. For her fan-favorite performance, she won an Emmy nomination for Best Actress.
The project relates to the headwriter, Jac Schaeffer, who acts as executive producer, and Kevin Feige, too. It’s confirmed to be part of the Marvel Universes Phase 5.Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be making its debut in Winter 2023.
