Nuwa presented the Pen, a smart handwriting digitizer – the pen that can read with the dedicated app. The Pen Nuwa will cost $279 in the summer 2023.

The smart pen is equipped with three cameras, as well as sensors that respond to pressure and movement. You can write anything on any paper with it. The app is capable of storing the digitized text in memory, making the saved notes more attractive.
Marc Tuinier, CEO of the company, noted that handwriting has deeply personal characteristics, so that the Pen Nuwa was designed to write the text ink and create it on the device. Our end-to-end encryption for digital ink ensures that your thoughts are safe when you start writing, he added.
This intelligent pen has standard D1 refills for ballpoint pens. This is a charging device that provides energy replenishment within 15 minutes. Battery capacity is enough to write around 2 hours of handwriting.
The Nuwa Pen application will allow the user to give up the notes at any time. For those who want their handwritten notes converted to typed text, the company is offering a Nuwa Pen+ subscription for 2.99 per month.
