You can be compelled to remain in control of the biggest sports league in the world — for so long that you’re going to get caught in the best effort. Sometimes, the only way of achieving its success is by failure. Here, the founder of 100 Thieves believes could help Call of Duty return to its former glory.

In the latest episode of a talk show hosted by TsyeJ, Nadeshot explained why he hoped to evoke a problem with CoD in a run out of bad versions, and how it could be beneficial since the developers would have to refocus their efforts to improve the product.

I have always hoped it would be another year when Call of Duty all flops and fails, Nadeshot said. Even though they really recenter themselves, refocus and compartmentalize their intention, they would come with one of the best games you’ll ever play.

This former pro player wishes CoD would focus its attention on playing and the competitive systems in order to create a first-class experience. Although people are free to play unrated in their own way, he would push players to play ranked more by their own menu and UI, as the focus on the game could make the game even bigger than it is.

Nadeshot has been pretty vocal with both his praises and the concerns he made about Call of Duty, particularly with this most recent release. Just last month, the 30-year-old got into the stream, after his game crashed in the attempt to capture the first nifty nuke in Warzone 2 by requesting a fix from the developer. He supported the developers saying that the game was still a great addition to the franchise, but still kept the attention of the many issues that the title had.

Modern Warfare 2 got a massive turnout with 25 million players in the first five days of release. The constant complaints from the community have already been affecting CoD’s number, with the games average player base dropping by 42 thousand over the last 30 days, according to Steam Charts.
