Lake’s Holiday Themed Season’s Greetings DLC hits the game next month.


    Earlier this year, developer Gamius and publisher Whitethorn Digital revealed the Lake Holiday DLC, Season’s Greetings. now, Sports Informer can exclusively reveal that Lake’s Season’s Greetings DLC will go live next month.

    More specifically, Season’s Greetings is hitting Lake on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15th. Along with this news, Gamious has released a new Season’s Greetings trailer which you can watch below:

    As you can see in the trailer above, Season’s Greetings brings players to the snow-covered Providence Oaks during the 1985 holiday season, which is set a year before the original Lake story. In it, players control Thomas Weiss, a friendly mail carrier and the father of Lake’s protagonist Meredith Weiss.

    “By switching perspectives from Meredith to her father, players will gain an understanding of the Weiss family dynamics and gain insight into the snow-covered Providence Oaks from the perspective of a longtime resident,” a The press release reads. “Not only will players learn more about the familiar faces they’ve come to love from the main story, but Season’s Greetings introduces five entirely new characters to the town of Providence Oaks, each with their own story. With.”

    Gamious says the DLC will also provide some answers to the unanswered questions teased in The Lake while continuing the game’s focus on slice-of-life themes and laid-back vibes. The story, like the base game, features a branching narrative where there are no right or wrong answers.

    Lake’s Season’s Greetings DLC will launch in-game on November 15th. It will be available for free everywhere the base game can be played.
