While much of the gameplay focuses on combat in the turn-based strategy RPG King Arthur: Legion IX, there is more to think about. After each mission, you will have to make moral decisions that will affect more than the moment. So, should you take the demonic path or the path of humanity in King Arthur: Legion IX?
Should you choose demonic or human morality in King Arthur Legion IX?
The most important thing to keep in mind is that there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to making moral decisions in King Arthur: Legion IX. This is a fantasy game that draws on several genres to create a unique combination, so if I purely want to make a roleplaying game things as you see them, there are there is nothing wrong with that.
However, if you want to make decisions based on how they affect your characters and future battles, you should consider that your moral choices will affect what other heroes think of you (individual loyalty bonuses) and also the Table of Morality (squad bonuses) that may be available to you as you focus on one of the paths.
Hero Loyalty in King Arthur: Legion IX
Different heroes automatically fall to the demonic or humanity side and the way you (playing as Gaius) make your decisions can affect their allegiance.
- Plutonium (Demonic): Every time you choose a demonic morality option, he will gain +1 Loyalty.
- albino (Humanity): When you make a Humanity morality choice, she gets +1 Loyalty.
Greater loyalty add weapon damage and, if it reaches 15, an additional AP. This can make a big difference, so if you prefer one of these heroes, that can help you in your decision.
The morality table in King Arthur: Legion IX
Every time you are in Nova Roma, you will have to make a decision related to the functioning of the city. These decisions will have two to three options, often allowing you to make a decision. Demonic or Human inclined response. Every time you make a choice, the morality table will move one space, and for every two spaces you move in one direction, you’ll open up a new bonus.
Demonic
- 2 points: Looting Decree (doubles the gold found on your next mission)
- 4 points: Commitment to Orcus (heroes gain 5 percent vitality each time they kill a unit)
- 6 points: Tax collection (unlocks a War Council upgrade that adds 25 percent to gold earned from missions)
- 8 points: Concession Decree (merchants give a 20 percent discount but the arrival of new stock is delayed by 2 shifts)
- 10 points: Eternal Legion (Heroes remain alive with 1 Vitality the first time they must die. Any additional damage is delayed until the next turn)
Humanity
- 2 points: Recovery Decree (doubles the resources found on your next mission)
- 4 points: Commitment to Vista (all heroes gain 10 percent vitality after each battle)
- 6 points: Fidelity (unlocks a War Council upgrade that adds +1 Loyalty to all heroes)
- 8 points: Goods replenishment decree (the merchant’s stock is replenished immediately)
- 10 points: Vesta’s touch (you can now overheal, and 50 percent of the overheal is converted to temporary Vitality)
Other morality options
If you don’t care about RPGs and are not convinced by the bonuses offered by the gods, there is usually a third option. This usually allows you to give a specific bonus to one of your heroes (extra loyaltyor even a skill point). These can be excellent options, especially if you’re not convinced by the 10-point morality table bonuses.
In the end, there is little to choose between the two paths in terms of the quality of the bonuses. However, I like the Commitment to Vista bonus and also I prefer albino about Plutonium, so I will almost always do Humanity options to strengthen their loyalty.
