Hades 2 is now in Early Access and players are sure to find returning characters from the first game in their playthrough. One of the returning characters is Hypnos, Sleep Incarnate, who is always sleeping. Here we explain how and if you can awaken Hypnos in Hades 2.
Can you wake up Hypnos in Hades 2?
While Hypnos cannot be fully awakened for now, He can talk to you a little while he sleeps. if you give it Nectar. Initially approaching him will do nothing, but giving him nectar as a gift will make him murmur a few words. Giving him nectar will initially cause him to murmur “welcome to….haah, zzzzz…” (after which he will go back to sleep). Afterwards, Melinoe will say that the nectar will be waiting. him when she wakes up.
It seems that Nectar can only be used to wake him up, at least for a moment. Hades II is still in early access, so it’s possible Hypnos’ role will prevail later in the game cycle. For now, however, he rests while we give him some sweet nectar.
How to get nectar in Hades 2
Nectar is used to improve your relationship with other characters in the game (such as with Hypnos). It can be found in many ways in Hades 2, such as clearing encounters in Erebus and other areas, and in the Wretched Broker and Charon’s Shop. It is classified as rare, so you will have to have a little luck to get it.
