In Hades 2, Grasp Melinoë’s amount determines how many activated tarot cards she can carry at a time. I’ll show you how to increase your understanding of the Arcana to help you get even closer to defeating Chronos.
How to get more grip in Hades 2
You will need to use Melinoë’s altar to increase his grip. This is the same place where you can unlock and activate Tarot Cards.
In Melinoë’s alter, select the Melinoë image in the upper right corner. It will cause text to appear describing the Arcana domain.
There are a few things you should pay attention to in this image.
- The arrow points to a set of two numbers below Melinoë’s face. The number on the left shows how much Grasp you are currently using, while the number on the right shows how much Grasp is available to use.
- The description for Grasp of the Arcana explains that each upgrade increases your Grasp by 2 points. Grasp upgrades using Psyche.
- The image in the yellow circle shows how much Psyche is needed for the next upgrade. If you don’t have enough, the text will appear red.
- The small symbol and white text below the Psyche image show how much Psyche you have in your inventory.
Once you have collected enough Psyche to upgrade your Grasp, the text will change so that Psyche is written in black and the required amount is written in white.
Press the designated refresh button in the lower right corner of the screen. The total amount of Grip displayed under Melinoë’s face will increase by two points. Additionally, the amount of Psyche required for the next upgrade will also increase.

How to get Psyche in Hades 2
Psyche is a room reward that you can find during any run of Hades 2. To get it, you will need to find a door with the Psyche symbol over it and enter.
After clearing the room, you will be rewarded with 10 Psyche. Interact with it to collect it and continue your race. These will be stored in your inventory to use whenever you want.
