Probably one of the best additions to World of Warcraft comes courtesy of the Dragonflight expansion. Ottuks are adorable, otter-like mounts that glide while carrying their rider. There are several variations to obtain, but one of the easiest versions, The Ivory Trader’s Ottuk, only required a few dungeons and its loot.
Where to get Ivory Trader’s Ottuk mount in WoW Dragonflight
Tattukiaka sells the Ottuk from the Ivory Trader in The Azure Span. This is one of two Ottuks they sell, the other being the Iskaara merchant’s Ottuk. The currency required to purchase the mount is a bit unusual. Tattukiaka wants three rings from various Dragonflight dungeons.

Rings of Tattukiaka
- Ring of Thunderblast – The Raging Tempest boss in The Nokhud Offensive
- Unstable Arcane Loop – Boss Leymor in The Azure Vault
- platinum star band – Vexamus at Algeth’ar Academy
Rings can be acquired at any dungeon difficulty level and can be mixed and matched. So if you catch one on Heroic, the other on Normal, and the third on Mythic, that’s totally fine. Tattukiaka is a pretty understanding guy. However, if he’s looking for the fastest and most efficient way to acquire them, we recommend running them on Normal, as that will be the lowest entry bar. Keep in mind that the rings are not a guaranteed drop, so it may take several runs to claim them.
