By playing The Sims 4, your Sim can have a mind of their own with deeper thoughts and desires. Fears are one of those mechanics that you often cannot fully control. Fortunately, there are a couple of routes you can take to conquer those fears about your career and get back on track as soon as possible.
How to cure the fear of dead end work with a potion in Sims 4
If you don’t have much time to spare, consider using a potion to allay your Sim’s fears of a dead-end job. He Fear Vanishing Potion it will help your Sim immediately fix their career fear, but it will only remove one fear per drink. To get the potion, go to the Aspirations Reward Shop and pay 300 points to order it for your Sim. From there, click on the potion in your inventory and choose that your Sim drink.

How to get rid of the fear of dead end work with Regain Passion in Sims 4
For those who don’t want to go the potions route, a bit of patience will be required. Stay on top of the bubbles above that Sim’s head. Eventually you will see a spiked shape instead of the normal bubble. This spiky shape will urge you to help your Sim regain their passion for their career. Go to your Sim at this point and choose recover the passion. This will help them for quite some time, but the fear can always come back.
