Glassrock is one of the materials in Hades 2 that can be collected during races and used in Crossroads. I’ll show you what they look like and where Glassrock can be found on your quest to take down the Time Titan.
Where to get Glassrock in Hades 2
Glassrock can only be found in the third area of Hades 2, called Mourning Fields or Fields of Mourning. You will visit this area after defeating Scylla and the Sirens in Oceanus.
This area is a bit more open world than the previous one, with plenty of monsters roaming around. You will have to explore each area carefully to find them. Glassrock deposits look like large, jagged black rocks. They can be found in both common areas and mini-boss rooms. I found my first Glassrock deposit in Queen Lamia’s mini-boss room.
Glassrocks can be mined with Crescent Pickaxe as can Silver and Bronze.
Fully mining a deposit of Glassrock will place 3 Glassrock in your inventory.
What is Glassrock used for in Hades 2?
Currently, the only thing Glassrock is used for is unlocking the Argent Skull. It’s one of the last weapons you’ll unlock in Hades 2 Early Access and provides players with plenty of firepower.
It is used to unlock the Artemis Skin for the Blades sisters.
Glassrock is also an ingredient to unlock the Thanatos Aspect for the Moonstone Axe.
As of early access, there isn’t much else for Glassrock to be used for. However, Glassrock’s description in its inventory specifies that it is primarily used for “incantations involving tension and negativity.” This implies that Glassrock will have more uses in Hades 2 as the game continues to grow.
