The Apex Legends Neon Network event introduces a new currency for Apex Legends. In the Neon Network Collection event, players can participate in the Node Tracker Takeover to earn Computer Node currency. In previous collection events, challenges have been held to earn points for the free reward tracker, but in the Neon Network event, earning free rewards is much more unique and interactive.

The Neon Network event not only introduces a new currency and new ways to earn rewards, players can also jump into the new Kill Code game mode, which is a single player experience where you take on a heist as Loba. I’m really enjoying the twist on the Apex Legends Collection Event, as they’ve been a bit repetitive before. Here’s how to get currency from compute nodes in Apex Legends.

To get the currency from computer nodes in Apex Legends, you need to play an unranked Battle Royale match during the Neon Network Collection event. During the match, you can use a special item called the Node Tracker to find locations to gather the computer nodes and other items. Once you follow the Node Tracker to a location, you can hack the location to produce a Loot Tick, which will have computer nodes and items inside. You can only use five node trackers a day, so make sure you find the locations when you activate the node tracker in a match.

What are compute nodes used for in Apex Legends?

Computer nodes can be spent in the rewards shop located on the right side of the lobby screen or in the season tab. Here are all the items in the bounty shop that can be purchased with Computer Nodes.

    • R-301 Epic Lightbreaker Skin: 5000 computing nodes
    • Raving Wolf Trinket and She-wolf Bundle: 4000 computing nodes
    • Arcane Sigil Amulet and Crypto Bundle: 4000 computing nodes

    • Last Shot Loba Frame: 3000 computing nodes
    • Lake and Holospray charge: 3000 computing nodes
    • Battle Pass Tier (Repeatable): 2000 compute nodes and all other rewards must be unlocked

Collecting computer nodes will also unlock badges and story progression for the Neon Network event. To unlock the full story and all four badges, you need to collect 30,000 computer nodes.
