How to enable the FPS counter in MW3 beta

How to show FPS in Modern Warfare 3 beta

Game settings

As mentioned above, the Modern Warfare 3 beta has a built-in feature that allows you to see your game performance in real time. Here’s how to activate it:

1. Start the game.
2. Open the main menu and select “Settings“.
3. Choose the “Interface” option.
4. Find the “Telemetry” settings category and choose see more options.
5. Below here, you should see the FPS counter setting. Select it to turn it on.

steam overlay

In case you have preloaded Modern Warfare 3 through the Steam app, you will be able to see your FPS in-game using Steam’s overlay feature.

1. Open Steam.
2. Click on “Steam” in the upper left corner and select “Settings“.
3. Click on “In–Game” in the left sidebar.
4. Check the “Enable Steam overlay while in-game” box.

Nvidia GeForce

If your gaming system has an Nvidia GPU, you can use its native GeForce Experience software to display the FPS counter. Here are the steps:

2. Right click on your desktop and select “Nvidia Control Panel“.
3. Select the game to measure FPS.
4. Click on “Manage 3D settings” and then select “Program settings” eyelash.

AMD software

With the release of Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 17.12.1, the company introduced Radeon Overlay for AMD GPUs. It is an on-screen display (OSD) menu that allows you to track important metrics such as GPU usage, temperatures, CPU usage, and frames per second. Here’s how to use it to show FPS in MW3 beta:

1. Open the AMD Radeon software.
2. Click on the “Settings” button.
3. On the left side, select “Gaming“.
4. On the right side, select “Global Options“.
5. Scroll down to “Performance metrics” and click “Toggle performance metrics”.
