Eiyuden Chronicle Mellore Recruitment Guide
After Nowa finishes her first job in the game, Ymir tasks her with recruiting more people for the team. The first recruitable person is already in Eltisweiss, your starting city. She is Mellore, a little Magical Girl. After telling him where Redthroat Ridge is, he decides to follow her and help her.
Before leaving Eltisweiss, equip your characters well. Make sure you have many healing herbs because you will need them in the fight with Nerthus. Leave Eltisweiss and head along the road east, and you will reach Redthroat Ridge.
How to defeat Nerthus in Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes
You will meet Mellore at the beginning of Redthroat Ridge and the two agree to work together. Simply head north and you will eventually find Nerthus. This monster looks like a giant mole and dig in the sandwhich appears randomly on the left or right side of the battlefield.

Mellore has special weapons against Nerthus, two grimoires which launches a magic hammer once activated. You can activate a grimoire using your Trick with any character. The tricky part is that you have to guess which side Nerthus will appear on, which is completely random.
you need to choose a character to interact with grimoires, and the rest must defend and heal. This is the time when all those healing herbs are used, in case opportunity is not on your side. If you have enough healing items, you shouldn’t worry about this battle. After you finally defeat Nerthus, Mellore will join your ranks.
