How to complete all Haaland challenges in Clash of Clans

Haaland is a Norwegian striker who plays for Manchester City, one of the most important teams in the Premier League. In this Clash of Clans collaboration, Haaland will be all over the game this season, including something known as Haaland Challenges. Here we explain how to complete them all!

How to complete all levels of Haaland’s Challenge

Since a new level opens every two days, this post will be updated every time a new level is added to the game. Be sure to keep checking in to find out what to expect that day.

Haaland Challenge Level 1: Recovery Time

For the first challenge, you’ll need to defeat Haaland’s actual base (seen in the screenshot above) with a pre-arranged army. That army is made up of the following:

• x10 balloons level 8
• x10 level 7 dragons
• x1 Lava Hound level 5
• x1 Stone Strike level 4
• Barbarian king level 65
• Archer queen level 65
• Great Guardian level 40
• x4 level 6 rage spells
• x5 level 7 freezing spells

The best strategy for this is to drop your troops wherever you see fit, but make sure the freeze spell is being used on all air defenses. This is not a difficult challenge As long as the air troops can do their job.. You’ll also want to make sure to use the Rage spell when there are a larger number of troops nearby, giving you more opportunities to use it.

Haaland Challenge Level 2 – Kicker Kick-Off

The second level of the Haaland Challenge is called “Kicker Kick-Off” and is an unnamed level 12 Town Hall. You will have the following army:

• x20 Barbarian Kickers level 8 (the new troop type)
• x1 cunning elf level 8
• x1 level 6 rage spell

This level is easier than the first level as long as you are patient. You can easily defeat him with three stars. I have tried several strategies, and the easiest, by far, is simply deploying all the Barbarian Kickers across the midfield line at once. This overwhelms the defenses and you can release the rage spell when a large portion of them gather. Then, use the Sneaky Goblin to break through and clear the resources while the defenses focus on the Barbarian Kickers.

What is Haaland’s challenge in Clash of Clans?

Clash of Clans usually has a season each month that players can participate in to earn special rewards and prizes. To obtain these rewards and prizes, you will usually need to complete certain activities during the month to reach each level of the season. This month, the game is partnering with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland to have players take on certain challenges to earn these rewards.

For the Haaland’s Challenge event, players will have 12 different challenges to complete throughout the month. There will be a new challenge available every two days. (on odd days from May 1, 2024 to May 23, 2024) starting at 1am PT/ 4am ET/ 9am BST.

You can participate in these challenges. if you are City Council level 4 and higher (don’t worry, the game will give you a specific army, so you won’t be at a disadvantage for being low level). At levels 1, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12, the game will have a special challenge leaderboard where you can rank depending on how long it takes you to complete the challenge.

Other troops, skins and other CoC events taking place during the Haaland Challenge

While Haaland’s Challenge is the most important part of the season, there are some other interesting things happening with the game. To start, a new troop called Barbarian Kicker is available to any Town Hall level 3 and above until May 31, 2024.

Then there’s the medal event, which will encourage players to attack town halls and take out cannons, archer towers, and inferno towers to earn medals. The event has the following:

• giant launchers: A new temporary troop unlocked for Town Hall 6 and above.
• Yellow card: A new time spell that works identically to Freeze
• Hero equipment: spiky ball: Allows the Barbarian King to shoot a spiked soccer ball at buildings.
• Soccer Goalkeeper Queen Hero Design: Available through the Event Store from the Medal Event

Of course, there will also be the opportunity to purchase skins for the Heroes. While the Goalkeeper Queen skin is obtained through the Medal Event, you can purchase the Barbarian King Haaland, the Barbarian Football King, and the Great Football Guardian in the Shop. The Football Royal Champion is available with the season’s Gold Pass. Finally, you can get football-themed stages for your base.
