Is Roblox chat available on PS5 or PS4?
Unfortunately, Roblox chat is not available on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. This means you can’t use voice chat, platform text chat, or text chat in the in-game experience. The developers of Roblox has stated They are aware of this issue and are working hard to bring chat functionality to PlayStation consoles in the future.
However, this doesn’t mean you have to play Roblox silently. There is a way to chat with other players on different platforms using a separate service called Discord. You can use Discord on your mobile device, computer, or even your PlayStation console.

How to use Discord on a PlayStation console
To use Discord on your PlayStation console, you must link your Discord account to your PlayStation Network account. Here’s how you can do it:
- Open the Discord app on your mobile device or computer and log in to your account.
- Link your Discord account to your PlayStation Network account by going to Account Management > PlayStation Network > Linked Services and selecting Discord from the list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
- Finally, start Discord on your console and join a voice channel to get started.
Once you’ve linked your accounts, you’ll be able to voice chat with players on other platforms via Discord on your PlayStation console.
