Like many modern shooters, Gray Zone Warfare has you choose one of three factions when you start. These factions can greatly influence your experience in the game. But are you stuck in this choice forever? Read on and find out for yourself.
Can you change factions in Gray Zone Warfare?
Factions are an essential part of Gray Zone Warfare. The Lamang Recovery Initiative; Mitra security systems; Crimson Shield International: each faction has its own distinct base, style and set of tasks. Which faction you choose will greatly influence your time playing GZW, and even who you can team up with.
But the good news is that yes, you can change factions in Gray Zone Warfare. But to do it, you need completely delete your character and reset your progress. This means deleting your current character and creating a new one before choosing which faction you want to join.
How to delete your character in Gray Zone Warfare
To rip off the band-aid and delete your character, press the “Delete character” button at the bottom right of the main menu screen. When the message appears on the screen (as seen below), click “Yes, I’m sure” to make your fateful choice.
While this may seem like a bold decision, remember that you have to be in the same faction to be able to play with your friends and communicate with them. And since this is currently the only way to change factions, we recommend following this process. as soon as possible so as not to lose valuable loot and progress.
