How to beat level 13 in Choppy Orc

Choppy Orc is a unique puzzle platform game where you play as an orc, using nothing more than your trusty ax and wits to beat each level. With the popular Hollow Knight Silksong platformer RPG still in development, Choppy Orc offers fun split-second timing and platforming gameplay to play instead. While perhaps not as challenging as Hollow Knight, some of Choppy Orc’s levels provide a good challenge, and level 13 can be especially difficult.

Choppy Orc level 13 places the player at the bottom of a hole on the left side of the level. The path in front of them requires scaling the hole, followed by avoiding spikes, bats, ghosts, and fire on the way to the coveted treasure chest at the end. Completing this task will require a lot of decision making and timing, but it can be executed using the following moves:

• Start by scaling the wall of the hole. To do this, you need to jump up and throw your ax at the wall, landing on the axe. You can then jump off the axe, retrieve it, and throw it again as you land on it. However, you need leaves the ax embedded in the wall halfway.
• Jump into the cave passage at the top of the map, then head right. Line up so the bat enemy in the middle of the map is between you and your axe, then retrieve your axe. You have to kill the bat enemy with this method to pass the level.
• After you retrieve your axe, throw it at the skull post. This will make ghost enemies transparent, allowing you to pass through them without damage while leave the ax on the skull post.
• Head down through the tunnels until you reach the fire pit at the bottom. This is the hardest part of the level. You need to jump, and when you start your jump you need to retrieve your axe. Then, mid-jump, when you grab your axe, you should immediately throw it into the wall and land on it. If you execute this correctly, you can make it to the other side of the fire pit.
• The last step is the easiest, as all you need to do is retrieve your axe, kill the bat enemy near the chest, and clear the level!
