Almost all gacha games force you to choose between a female and a male MC to play. However, that choice isn’t always easy, which is why Honkai Star Rail players are requesting a new feature in the next update.
editor NahIdKill He took to the Honkai Star Rail subreddit to ask the rest of the players if they would like to change a feature or have both Trailblazers available in the game. While I hadn’t thought about this before and I’m very happy with my choice of Stella, I think she would be a really great feature to add to the game.

Considering there are only minor differences between the two MCs in Honkai Star Rail, mostly cosmetic and in some mannerisms, it certainly makes sense. The story is also unaffected, so a change should be possible. Reddit user u/brimwithno also echoed the same sentiment, adding that unique gear or items for each MC would help add a bit of variety.
Having both at the same time could be more difficult to execute. Some have mentioned the possibility of one of the Trailblazers relaxing on the Express while the other goes and explores. Not only does this avoid complications with the game as is, but it also allows for occasional interaction between Stella and Caelus.
You can also have one of the Trailblazers follow your chosen or preferred option. This would also allow for interactions between the two, as well as seeing how they interact with all NPCs beyond the boundaries of the Express. I suppose this would be harder to implement, but it would be fun to see.
All in all, I think even people who are happy with their choice, like me, would absolutely agree with a feature like this being implemented. It would be a great help to anyone who didn’t like their choice in the end. Hopefully, with so much interest, Mihoyo will consider adding this feature to Honkai Star Rail in future updates.
