Dark and Darker has quickly become a popular game, even before its release. Ironmace Games has been running several alpha playtests, allowing fans to jump in early and give feedback on the development of the game. This may have you wondering how to sign up for the Dark and Darker alpha test.
How to play the dark and darkest alpha
To join and play the Dark and Darker Alpha Playtest, you need to go to the game’s Steam page. If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to create one. Once you’re in the Dark and Darker Steam Pagepress the request access under the Wish List button. If you are accepted into the play test, you will be able to play. We receive confirmation of our acceptance almost immediately, but time may vary.

If you are selected for the play test, you can participate and play the game before it is released. This is a great way to get a feel for the game and try it out. Also, if your friends join the game test, you will also be able to party start and explore the Dark and Darker dungeons together.
The current playtest runs from December 16, 2022a December 23th, 2022. Ironmace Games has done several playtests, so there may be more to come. Be sure to bookmark this page as we will update this guide when new test dates are announced.
