Indie RPG Children of Silentown is a moody Tim Burton-style point-and-click adventure with a big heart. You take on the role of Lucy, one of the girls from Silentown, a small town that lives in fear of the monsters that live in the nearby forest. Your mother has disappeared, along with many other inhabitants of the town, and you feel that something must be done. Below you will find a full walkthrough of Children of Silentown chapter four, during which Lucy takes her first fearful steps in the woods.
How to fix the pipes in Children of Silentown
Take the hammer in your room, then go downstairs and take the cork of the food preparation area. Go into the basement and pick up two more corks of the two bottle crates on the floor. Go outside and turn off the newly fixed faucet, which will reveal three holes that need to be filled. You can use the corks in the pipe holes to stop the leaks, but the pressure is too strong and you can’t turn off the faucet. Look on the floor near the water leak to see the traces left by the squinting eyes. They lead to a hole in the wall, but the scrap heap is too dangerous to get through.

Go back home, take the bottle of oil at the food counter, then use it on the faucet. Turn off the water, then insert two of the corks in it smaller holes and use the hammer to hit them even more. Turn the water back on and the corks will stay, sending the other leaks further away and destabilizing the garbage pile. Take the towel who was evicted here and combine it with the last cork. It’s now big enough to fit into the larger hole, so repeat the process of turning off the water and inserting the cork. Then close the tap, releasing a stream of water that definitively frees the junk against the wall, revealing a safe exit.
On the other side of the wall, you’ll find Squinty stuck in a tree. Use the hammer on the broken glass of the right window of the abandoned building to get a glass shard. Use the glass about him ropes holding the ladder to the wall to free it, then use the ladder to get squinty. You will meet the crazy old woman again, who will give you another note of the song, and then you will return home.
How to find the children in the hideout
Now you will start a hide and seek game, in which you have to find your six friends:
- Silver: behind the well in the square.
- Red: go to the cherry tree in the farmer’s field, pull the rope, and Red will reveal his location when you fall for his prank. don’t forget about collect fake spiders after the joke
- Blue: investigate the pile of straw outside the bakery to find a hatch. Go inside and find blue cheese to cook. After talking to him, use mom song into the fire and solve the puzzle (above). Also, he goes to the bottom of the cave and looks through the crack in the wall to learn a new note.
- Sunny: On the path to the forest, north of the path. She is covering her ears, so she uses children’s song (answer below) to repair your thinking.
- Black: It’s hidden in the lumberjack’s shop outside your house, but you can’t get to it. first you have to sing mom song about him trumpet and solve the puzzle (below). Red’s dad will then leave, allowing you to find Black. Look at the shed after he leaves and use the spiders in the woodshed to prank him later. Go a little way to the water pipes to find him again, at which point he’ll go back to the woodshed and be pranked.
- Raven: At the end of the alley west of the bakery, in plain sight. Tell her that you already caught Black and she will go to the square to meet the others.
How to escape from the monster in the forest

Walk further to the right and the monster will spot you, so you dash back and release a skull. Pick it up then combine skull and vine make a skull hook. Please note that in this section time may be important. Often, you can only move in a few directions after the monster looks away.

Go through the hole to the north, then head left all the way to the end. You will see a spring that is locked above you. use your skull hook in that twice to dislodge the lock. Now that the water is flowing, go back (to the right, then down) to where you started. A vine here has turned yellow. Use the yellow vine, which activates a flower that distracts the monster. While he’s distracted run good to where you will find withered blue roots. Use children’s song on the roots and solve the puzzle (below), which in turn will activate a blue vine next to you that is connected to a blue flower.
Use the yellow vine here to return to the central tunnel area and go through the tunnel to the north. pull the blue vine to blind the monster there, then go right. Use mom song in the purple brambles (below) to release the blue vine here, which heals the plant. Go back to the center, head north and pull the blue vine here to go right again to face another set of purple brambles with a key in themin front of a door
This time you only need to sing, not solve a puzzle, but the brambles disappear taking the key with them. Get out of the cave and down a short slope To find the brambles again, but now you can’t sing to them. Salt and pull blue vineafter run and quickly sing to the vine. If you get it right, it will move again. go down to the door and sing once more, moving the vines behind you, but now you can take the key. Use it on the door to advance.
How to escape from the forest
You will appear in a dark glade, with a plant in front of you that has six stems. You need to touch them up all six light up (press in order 2, 2, 6, 5, 4, one). Go up to the now open floor, follow the tunnel, then follow the misty path north until you come to a statue. Put your hand in the mouth of the statue. to learn a new note. wear your new forest song and solve the puzzle (above), then continue north. The next section is a bit of a maze. Keep running north and east until you come to one of three birds, each of which needs a different song to sing to it:
- Green: Song of the Forest
- Red: Mom’s song
- Blue: Children’s song
After singing to the first one you find, follow where it flies to reach the next bird. Follow the last one to find your way back home and complete the chapter.
