After the MW3 integration, players appear on the minimap when firing an unsuppressed weapon in Call of Duty: Warzone. This makes Suppressors the ultimate muzzle accessory to keep you undetectable on radar.
Fortunately, Modern Warfare 3 introduced a new set of suppressor attachments to Warzone that don’t penalize your weapon’s stats as much, specifically aim down speed (ADS).
The best suppressors to use in MW3 Warzone
These are some of the best suppressors you can equip on your weapons in Warzone 3. Be sure to check the pros and cons through the detailed stats to select the appropriate attachment for your build, whether it’s to improve recoil control or scope.
Suppressor muzzle | Advantages | Cons |
---|---|---|
sonic suppressor | Range | STF speed and recoil control |
VT-7 Spirit Fire Suppressor | Range, recoil control | ADS speed and STF speed |
Monolithic suppressor | recoil control | Ad speed |
Shadow Strike Suppressor | – | – |
*STF = Run to Shoot
As you can see from the table, the Shadowstrike Suppressor has no advantages or disadvantages associated with it. I rarely use this accessory, but it is the best option for those who want a suppressor without any drawbacks.
The best suppressors for all weapons in Warzone 3
While the aforementioned attachments are the obvious suppressor muzzle options in Warzone, I’ve also listed which ones work best for different weapon categories so you don’t have to waste time reviewing detailed stats.
- Assault rifles, battle rifles and light machine guns: VT-7 Spiritual Fire Suppressor
- SMG: Sonic suppressor or monolithic suppressor
- Sniper rifles and marksman rifles: Sonic Suppressor
- pistols: Sonic Suppressor
- Shotguns: All suppressors reduce the damage range of shotguns, so I recommend not using any.
The VT-7 Spiritfire suppressor works best for long-range fully automatic weapons such as AR, BR and LMG as they simultaneously improve damage range, bullet velocity and recoil control. Submachine guns, pistols, and snipers are best equipped with a sonic suppressor as it helps with damage range and bullet velocity. If you instead want some recoil control on poorly accurate submachine guns like the WSP Swarm, you can use the monolithic suppressor. As for shotguns, I suggest the Bryson Strangler mouth accessory.
