Solo Leveling: ARISE has a gacha system where you can search for rare characters and weapons. Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s banners, rates, and pity system to help you plan your rolls and save enough money for your favorite waifus and husbands.

How the selection draw works in Solo Leveling ARISE

The selection draw consists of characters and weapons in a shared pool. Requires you to choose four SSR characters or weapons to increase speed, which increases your chances of getting them. Although the rate to obtain the selection units is double, you are still not guaranteed to obtain them, not even for pity.

Also, there is no way to include SR in the rate increase pool, but the overall chances of getting them are much higher.

Rarity Global rate Standard rate (item specific) Increase rate (specific article)
    MR 8,800% 0.251%
    RSS 1,200% 0.060% 0.150%

The general rate indicates your chances of obtaining an SR or SSR from the banner, while the standard and boost rates refer to your chances of obtaining a particular character or weapon. For example, you have an 8.800% chance of getting an SR with each pull. If you manage to earn an SR, there is a 0.251% chance that it will be a particular character or weapon from the list (i.e. SR Park Heejin, SR Frostbite Falchion, etc.).

Likewise, there is a 1,200% chance of getting an SSR with each draw. If you win the lottery, there is a 0.060% chance of getting a non-speed boost character or weapon and a 0.150% chance of getting a speed boost one.

Individual leveling: ARISE Selection Draw pity system

Solo Leveling: ARISE employs a “pity” system, which indicates the number of pulls you must perform to obtain a guaranteed SSR.

    • MR: 10 pulls
    • SSR Hard pity: 80 pulls
    • SSR Gentle pity: 64 pulls

The hard pity indicates the number of pulls required to guarantee an SSR. Meanwhile, soft pity indicates the number of draws you need to make before the chance of getting an SSR increases significantly (+5.8% chance per draw from draw 64 onwards). It’s a useful number to remember for free players, as it can save you some tickets for the draw. I recommend doing 10 mass draws until you reach soft pity to save time, then doing individual draws as there is a good chance you will get an SSR between 64 and 79 draws.

A pity of 80 pulls doesn’t mean you have to draw 80 times to get an SSR; it just means if you weren’t lucky enough to get an SSR in your first 79 attempts. Then the 80th pull is guaranteed to be an SSR. If you manage to get an SSR in less than 80 pulls, the pity counter will reset. For example, if you get an SSR in 20 pulls, your next SSR is not guaranteed in 60 pulls, but in 80 pulls.

Additionally, if you fail to obtain an SSR from the four you selected, the next SSR you obtain is guaranteed to be one of the four (25% chance of being one of each).
