In previous installments of The Sims, unicorns were added within the DLC that also included horses. Can the same be said for The Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion pack? Well, something like that. EA has offered a cosmetic alternative that is sure to disappoint many Unicorn fans. Is there a way to get a genuine one in game? Mods for The Sims 4 haven’t been fruitful in this regard either, but I’m hopeful for the future.
Can you get a unicorn in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack?
While you can technically get the look of unicorns with the Horse Ranch expansion pack, they are not actual mythical creatures. On the other hand the the only thing you can do is add a horn to a horse’s head in Create a SIM (CAS). This will make it look like a Unicorn, complete with glitter around the horn. But there will be no accompanying magical powers or properties, just a horse in disguise.

How to get functional unicorns in The Sims 4
I searched the internet to try and find a way to get an actual Mythical Unicorn in The Sims 4. Unfortunately, there are there are currently no methods to obtain a magical Unicorn in The Sims 4. This even includes mods, of which I couldn’t find any. That being said, with the release of horses at Horse Ranch, this could change in the future. For now, players who want a real Unicorn are out of luck.
