    With Diablo 4 Season 1 officially here, players will want to know how it affects most of the content in the game, especially if the Altars of Lilith are reset with each new season.

    Diablo 4 has a lot to do in its vast open world of Sanctuary, from your main and side quests to optional collectibles, and social content like world bosses and dungeons.

    It has been confirmed. Lilith’s altars do not reset. Diablo 4 Season 1meaning you won’t have to go all over the world to activate them all again for stat bonuses.

    This was confirmed by associate game director, Joseph Papiura, during a May developer livestream (embedded above).

    Basically, while you can visit all or some of the Altars of Lilith during the new season, you’ll only get XP and Renown rewards, while Realm Power – which rewards stat bonuses – will be permanently active for all characters.

    This leaves the choice up to you, and with other, more engaging ways to earn fame and XP throughout each season, you can largely ignore Altars of Lilith after your first go-round of collecting them during your first playthrough.
