Apple is making a new version of the iPad mini tablet, said Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst at TF International Securities. The commencement of mass deliveries is scheduled for 2023 or so on, for the first half of 2024.

In recent tweets the expert stated that the main selling change of the new iPad mini is the use of a new chipset. Maybe there isn’t talk about a serious revision of the design yet.
The iPad mini was released in September 2021 with an eight-inch display, an A15 Bionic chipet, a USB Type-C port, a touch-in button with an integrated Touch ID sensor and an optional 5G support. In the US, the 64-GB model starts at $499.
Kuo didn’t give any more details about the new iPad Mini, but said it is unlikely Apple would replace this line of tablets with flexible iPads until at least 2025. In his opinion, such a model of the iPad would have a lot more cost, so such a replacement would be unjustified.
The Elec said earlier, citing industry sources, that Apple wants to replace the iPad mini with a flexible device. The manufacturer hasn’t confirmed that. But even though Kuo itself isn’t an effective source of information, sometimes his predictions don’t come true.
