Animal Crossing Villager Tier List: The Best ACNH Villagers, Ranked

Animal Crossing is nothing without the company of its island inhabitants. Some villagers, however, stand out above the rest. We’ve put together a tier list of our favorite Animal Crossing villagers of all time, as well as some that are really stinky.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Villager Tier List

S Tier ACNH Villagers

• Annabelle: This lively anteater took the world by storm with its trendy look and tropical flair. It’s hard to find a villager who appreciates ACNH’s island vibes as much as she does.
• Anka: Ankha is one of the most sought after villagers in the game, and it comes as no surprise given her unique appearance and distinctive style.
• Apollo: Apollo may be a grumpy old eagle, but he becomes a faithful friend once you prove yourself a loyal companion. He loves music, sunsets and (although he would never admit it) he loves a long walk on the beach.
• Cherry:Cherry is a strong bitch and sister that will rock your island completely. It’s no surprise that her favorite thing is music, and it looks like she might give KK Slider a shot if they go head-to-head in a battle of the bands.
• Fauna: I don’t want to be dramatic, but Fauna might be the best character in the game. Her granny vibes are perfect for exploring fruit trees and hanging out in the nature that surrounds the island.

Villagers ACNH Tier

• anthony: There aren’t too many athletes on this tier list, but Antonio is the exception. This friendly anteater will be buzzing all over the island and he’s so cute that his wind races alone have earned him a spot on Tier A.
• dawn: Aurora is a cute little penguin with a button-up sweater and a bit of a lisp, which could be because she’s always outside in the cold. She loves education and curling up with a good book.
• Flora: Flora’s lively personality can be a bit over the top at first, but give it time and you’ll fall in love with this ostrich fashionista.
• Chadder:Don’t let Chadder’s cocky personality scare you off. Beneath the physicality and bravado of this tuxedo-clad mouse is a friendly villager who will win your heart.

B Tier ACNH Villagers

• étoile: Etoile is a pink and purple sheep who loves music and hanging out with friends. It’s perfect if you’re striving to create a pastel pop island.
• Ketchup:Ketchup is an adorable duck who, appropriately, resembles a tomato.
• Raymond: Raymond’s striking heterochromia and love of nature won the hearts of the internet when he first launched, and that passion hasn’t waned at ACNH.

Level C ACNH Villagers

• Coconut: Coco is one of the most unique characters in the game. Although he is technically a rabbit, he has many of the same characteristics as many of the gyroids that are scattered throughout the island.
• Roald: Roald is just a penguin who is also an athlete. Watching him run around in his red striped shirt is cute, but his love of exercise can be too much at times.
• baroldo: Barold is… fine. He’s a lazy bear who loves to play with other villagers, but his laid-back, lo-fi existence can drain your energy if you’re not careful. He’s a bit of an energy vampire.

Level D ACNH Villagers

• Peter: Pietro is a cocky sheep with a slightly inflated ego. It’s fitting that his entire appearance resembles that of a clown.
• Limberg: Limberg is a grumpy mouse, but that’s not why he’s at the bottom of this list. His chubby beard and rosy cheeks give him a distinctive clown-like appearance and he is extremely off-putting.
• quillson: Quillson just sucks. He is a smug duck with a silly outfit and hairstyle. He doesn’t get along with any of the villagers and doesn’t understand why no one likes him.
