Magnezone is a very strong Pokemon in Scarlet & Violet and has a very high special attack. It can deal a lot of damage to Pokemon even without having to rely on super effective damage. How to Counter Magnezone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Magnezone has very high Defense but its Special Defense is a bit weaker. Hitting him on the special side will usually be faster, but he also has access to light screen, which will halve the damage from special moves. If found in the wild, it will tend to have a Steel- and Electric-type move, making Water-, Ice-, Rock-, Flying-, and Fairy-type Pokemon all combine horribly.
