The third chapter of Evil West features a ton of collectibles for you to discover. Find them all and explore the beautiful scenery as you continue on your way to 100% completion using our guide below.
Where to find all collectibles in The First Spark Cargo – All collectible locations
There are plenty of collectibles interspersed fairly evenly throughout the chapter, though the vast majority of what you’ll find is cash. This is a great chapter to fill your wallet.
Where to find all Lore
Daily Mail News (1/4)
When you’ve regained control of Jesse, look at the crates and horses to your left. Next to them, you should see two carriages. If you go behind the second carriage and look at the one closest to the building entrance you will find this news clipping.
President Lincoln and William Rentier
Once you have entered the building, you will find a trolley on the left side of the room. Go towards it and you will find this collectible.
Daily Mail News (2/4)
Go into the room that is now on your left and you should see a couple of desks. Take a closer look at the desks to find the second part of the news clippings.
IR Files
Once you’ve found the second news clippings, turn around and locate the bookstore. Go to the bookstore and examine it.
Jesse among the RI cadets
Once you’re out of the room, move down the hall. In the hallway there is a small table sitting in the corner containing this piece of tradition on top.

After examining the photo of Jesse with the cadets, head out of the hallway towards the main hall. Then go up the stairs and head left where you will find a bookshelf containing this photo.
First prototype of the gauntlet
Keeping on the same level as the Civil War photo, move around the house until you are standing directly over the entrance to the house. There you will find the prototype.
A portrait of William Rentier
You can find this collectible during the quest. attend the presentation. Before going through the door, look at the chair in front of the door to locate the portrait.
Jesse’s great grandfather
To start a family reunion tradition, go left in the room that is all green. The photo should be on a stretcher against the wall.
Where to find all the chests
There are no chests in this chapter.
Where to find all the Bucks
first cash
Once you’ve regained control of Jesse, go to the boxes next to the horses on your left. You will find $126 hidden.
second cash
Go to the wing of the building where you saw the photo of Jesse with the RI cadets. She goes upstairs and finds a bookshelf with $105 on it.
third cash
After the scene involving the attend the presentation mission, deploy and navigate through the opening. Stay to the right hand side of the lot and you will find $70 on the ground. It’s pretty well hidden among the debris and the fire.
cash room
Keep moving and you will come to a room filled with red barrels and unhitched carriages. You’ll find a chest on the left side of the room loaded with the most cash you’ve seen so far, a whopping $383.
fifth cash
Hit the switch and go down the tunnel. As you move, you will find a shiny box. He breaks the box and takes the $88 hidden inside.
sixth effective
When you are inside the room with the giant Tesla coil, investigate the shelves that flank the right side of the room. There’s $154 tucked in there.

seventh effective
To get the $101, go up the ledge and into the room that is bathed in green light. From here, head downstairs to find a wooden box on the left, behind a giant pillar.
eighth effective
In the green room, head across the room from where you found the photo of Jesse’s great-grandfather and there should be a shiny box on another trolley. Destroying this box will net you $128.
9th Effective
While you work on the mission. escape files, you will find an elevator. Break the chain on your right side for the $80.
tenth cash
when you are working for Find William Rentier, there will come a time when you will have to duck before an opening. Before you do that, break the rightmost chain for $86.
Eleventh Effective
Once you’ve grabbed the blue energy charge, go to your right. There you will find a breakable chain and a shiny box containing $115.
twelfth effective
You can find $296 almost immediately upon entering the Rentier Institute. Look behind the overturned bed to find a chest full of cash.
