Alan Wake 2 hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 27, but shortly before its release, developer Remedy Entertainment revealed that it will be getting a new Game Plus mode that I with an alternate narrative and nightmare difficulty, among other things. . Last night during The Game Awards 2023, Remedy, which picked up three wins during the show, revealed that “The Final Draft” update, which includes the aforementioned New Game Plus mode, will go live next week.
More specifically, the final draft hits Allen Week 2 on Monday, December 11. It features a new ending to Alan Wake’s story that Remedy says will spark speculation and theorizing among his most devoted fans. Plus, there’s new lore to explore in the form of new videos and manuscript pages.

You’ll find all of your unlocked weapons in the first available shoebox for characters, so don’t expect to immediately start the game with all of your weapons.
Remedy says the final draft update includes a number of bug fixes and minor performance improvements that will be further detailed in the full update notes, which will go live alongside the update on Monday.
