The first boss you are likely to encounter in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is the Dancing Lion of the Divine Beast. If you managed to beat him and don’t know where to go next, we will help you in this guide.
Where to go after the Divine Beast Dancing Lion in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC
After beating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss in Shadow of the Erdtree, your next stop should be Ensis Castle. It’s east of Belurat Tower, Settlement, where you face the Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Initially, after defeating the Dancing Lion, you will find an elevator that will take you to the Tower of Shadows. But you discover that it is blocked by black thorns.
The Tower of Shadows is essential to progressing the story of Shadow of the Erdtree, so it’s quite confusing as to why it’s locked and there’s no information on how to open it. But luckily, you’ll find a clue nearby. You’ll also find a letter from Needle Knight Leda near the blocked thorns that says the Gate of Divinity is located in the tower and where Miquella is heading. To get there you will follow the crosses towards the east.
While it’s unclear what they meant by this one, it turns out it’s Ensis Castle. At the Sitio de Gracia de la Cruz de Tres Caminos, you will be able to see Ensis Castle in the distance, so you won’t have to travel far. It is directly east of Belurat; it is very easy to get through Great Bridge of Ellac.
You’ll run into some really powerful enemies while you go to that area, including a Furnace Golem, so be prepared. Once you have reached Ensis Castle, you will have to defeat the next important boss in the story. Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. Then, you will have access to the Scadu Altuswhich is essential to advance the story of the DLC.
