How to fix incompatible realms in World of Warcraft
WoW is an MMO game that depends on constant communication between the server and the local computer. If there are some problems between them, your game time is over. If the Realm Selection menu shows incompatible realms, your game version is different than the server version. Follow these instructions on how to fix WoW incompatible realms problem.
- Exit the World of Warcraft game.
- Close Battle.net completely (check your Windows system tray if the platform is still open).
- Restart the Battle.net app.
- You will be prompted to update WoW.
- Start the game and choose kingdoms freely.

Why can’t I install the WoW update?
There are several reasons why the World of Warcraft update might not work. You can try several steps before giving up and waiting for the server to work properly.
