Materials don’t usually fall from the sky in Palworld (unless you shoot down a flying Pal), except that they might in this situation. If you want to know where to find meteorite fragments in Palworld, read on.

How to get meteorite fragments in Palworld

You can get meteorite fragments in Palworld during Meteor events. These are random events added with Sakurajima Island that will make your screen shake as if something it crashed next to you (something crashed).

Meteor events happen near Your current location. In my experience, these events do not occur while you are on a base; They only occur when you are exploring. You can recognize Meteor events in Palworld for a meteorite icon in the map.

However, keep in mind that not all meteor events will give you meteor fragments. Often, you will get a Supply Chest instead. These are also quite useful as you will usually find great items and materials like crude oil, elixirs, accessories, etc.

When a Meteorite drops and not a supply chest, it comes accompanied by a space friend (either Xenogard, Selyne or Xenovander). This is a great opportunity to capture them for your collection. Xenogard, the planet-devouring dragon, appears as an alpha boss, so always be prepared for a tough fight when heading towards a Meteor.

From the air, meteorite mineral can look like charcoal or stone, so scroll down to check it properly (don’t be like me and keep flying around confused). The difference is in round. purple spots what you will see in the mineral.

Once you are safe from any attacks, take out your Beak and start hitting. I usually get between 30 and 40 meteor fragments from a single event.

Meteorite fragments are used to make a meteor launcher as well as meteorite bullets. The bullets only require 2 Meteor Shards, so they’re not too difficult to farm. The Launcher, however, requires:

    • meteorite fragment x100
    • refined ingot x30
    • Palladium fragment x20

The meteorite can also be used to get 3 Paldium shards in the crusher, so if you have enough bullets for the launcher, you can turn what you don’t need into another very useful crafting material.
