Players who arrive on the island in Fortnite Chapter 4 can pick up the Falcon Scout item and take to the skies to drop their enemies while keeping themselves safe from immediate damage. It’s available in all modes, be it Arena, No Builds, or traditional Battle Royale lobbies with construction, so it’ll be hard to miss. Of course, players will have to take some time to find one first.
Where does the Falcon Scout drop in Fortnite?
The new item won’t be hard to find as it drops as regular floor loot, chests, oathsworn chests, and supply drops. Fortnite features a diverse loot pool full of loot like the Burst Assault Rifle, so don’t worry if the first chest doesn’t drop the Falcon Scout because one eventually will.

Essentially, this item will be available anywhere loot can be found, so players will have to hope they get lucky and find one before an opposing team does. Once the Falcon Scout is found, players will no doubt want to see what it can do. Rather than being an item used to take out other players, it will be used more of a reconnaissance tool to figure out where others are hiding.
What does the Falcon Scout do in Fortnite?
The Falcon Scout can be used as a way to scout the surrounding area to search for other players or collect loot. This can be useful when things are getting late and only a few players may be hiding. Once in the air, the Falcon Scout can scan an area and ping enemies you discover, so no one should be able to hide. You can’t fly too far, so while you grab when the storm circle is small, don’t assume you can fly to the middle of the map to investigate.
Another thing that could be useful is the fact that you can pick up fallen comrades and take them to a safe place if the enemy team doesn’t take them down. One thing that is very important to remember is that while using the Falcon Scout, the player is left completely vulnerable to attacks, so it can be very risky to use it solo.
