Duviri’s Paradox is a monstrous update for new and veteran players alike. For the new player, you will have to choose, but for the old one, it may not be accessible to you yet. Beginning the Duviri Paradox Story has requirements that absolutely need to be met before it becomes available. Wondering when you can start the Duviri Paradox content? Well look no further. Here is everything you need to know.

How to start Duviri’s paradox in Warframe

Let’s start with the new players first. As a new player, you will be given the choice between starting Duviri Paradox and therefore playing as a Drifter, or starting the traditional Warframe start, choosing between starting Warframes. As such, starting Duviri Paradox as a new player is as easy as selecting the option when logging into the game for the first time.

On the other hand, if you are already a Warframe player, To start the Duviri Paradox quest line, you will need to have completed the Vor Prize story, the first great story that comes your way. This series of missions acts as a kind of basic tutorial for the main Warframe game systems. It will have you building many of the major components that you will use constantly throughout your time in Warframe, in your personal Orbiter spaceship. Once the Prize of Vor has been completed, you will be able to manually start Duviri’s Paradox from your Codex.

    How to complete Vor’s Prize

As mentioned, Prize of Vor is the first questline you’ll have access to when starting Warframe through the traditional Warframe route, following the Awakening intro questline. Completing Vor’s Prize is largely basic, as it acts as a tutorial.

    Restore ship communications

When you start the quest, you will find that Grinner has basically dismantled your Orbiter, and many systems will need to be prepared. You are tasked with recovering the stolen data from the Grinner and extracting it from the mission. Very simple.

    Free the imprisoned merchant

Next, you will be tasked with saving an imprisoned arms dealer named Darvo. He is an important character in Warframe lore, and you will see him quite often, especially as a new player. You will have the task of saving him from the Grinner who is holding him hostage in mariana, earth. About halfway through the mission, Vor, the main antagonist during this questline, will hack into your Warframe with the Ascaris, the device he attached to your frame during the game’s intro sequence. Complete the rescue mission and you will earn the Ascaris Denier blueprint, which is needed to remove the device.

    Locate the casting segment

Returning to your Orbiter, you’ll find that you can’t craft the Ascaris Negator yet because you don’t have the Foundry Crafting Station installed yet. He will need to locate one and be tasked with doing so. He completes the mission by killing all the Grinner, then extracts.

    Loot Corpus resource caches

With the cast segment in hand, head downstairs in your Orbiter and install it. You will now be able to craft the Ascaris Negator, but you will be missing the necessary materials to do so. In this mission, move to the location controlled by Corpus and find Corpus supply caches containing the necessary materials. Then extract. Are you starting to see a pattern? That’s because this game loop is Warframe in a nutshell.

    Get Mercury Nav Segment

Vor is ultimately the one in control of your Warframe, so you need to find and dispose of him for this step. To do this, complete the next quest which has you going down the Mercury Nav Segment, which will tell you exactly where Vor is hiding on Mercury. Once you have obtained the segment, the cross-mission Sabotage mission will begin in which you will be tasked with destroying the Grineer ship’s reactor. Completion of this will start a five minute self-destruct countdown. All you need to do is extract before that time is up.

    Confront Captain Vor

With everything in hand, it’s time to face Vor in Cambria, Land. Vor is a boss encounter that requires you to use most of what you’ve learned to defeat it. Use the mods you’ve earned throughout this journey and equip them on your weapons and Warframe. Do this, and he is not difficult. Kill him, and the Ascaris on your chosen Warframe will disappear, marking the end of the Vor Prize quest line. Duviri’s Paradox can be chosen to start from his Codex.
