Bomb and Stick Launcher
Bombs and stick launchers are great for clearing out enemies that are wall walking, just point up and shoot. If there are no enemies above, the projectile will fall down and hit the enemies below.
Stack Launcher in particular is very strong like this.
The bomb launcher is extremely powerful when upgraded. It can remove large blobs of enemies in 2-3 shots and doesn’t really care about hitting weak spots due to the large blast radius – it just hits the entire creature at once, including all of its Weak spots.
The trick with the stick launcher is that when you fire it upwards, it bounces back and pierces enemies below as well, making it really powerful, especially “low” wall walkers. Against the lines. Gravity is actually your friend with this gun.
If you upgrade the shotgun a bit, it’s very useful against large wall walkers that are bullet sponges.
With more pellets per bullet, it also becomes effective against smaller flying enemies.
Any large balloon enemy that gets too close doesn’t survive more than one shot from the shotgun.
It can be great against Splody Blowons, but it’s a bit dangerous due to its low range and turn speed.
If you need to move the shotgun too far (more than half way from the spidermech’s back) and have 2 turret turning speed upgrades, it’s faster to go back to the regular turret and turn it, then the shotgun again. Switch on. I think this is stupid and should be changed, turret turning speed should be universal. This also applies to the stack and bomb launcher, by the way, they have no turn speed upgrade and turn as fast as the base turret without the upgrade.
