With the most excellent of our previous columns the One Shot column of 2022, let’s just take the bus from our routine and give our best best readers awards for their contribution over the last year. I sorted through 50 columns in 2022, to put the absolute best out of everything.

I put a limit to winning more than one award, even though you posted many excellent entries. So with any special effect, you’re tempted to take the best screenshots from 2022 to the best one!

    Reflective Nights Award.

We all like to take pictures of our characters with their backs up to the camera and staring into space, but I think they will be impressed with this photo by this FFXIV.

    Creepy Freaky Prize.

Bullwraith viewed an army of zombies outside the cage at Elder Scrolls Online. I can keep my locked-in here, thank you very much.

    Stealth Shot Award for Excellence.

Do you think your rogue is all stealthy? In Star Trek Online, Stormwaltz managed to cloak a whole starship.

The Tree of the Year Award goes up.

The award cannot be said to anyone whose best form of success comes from mighty oak and donut sprinkle trees. Katriana got the most out of Guild Wars 2. Comes with its own light.

    Desolate Landscapes award: 3.

For a place that I would like to visit in-game, but terrified to see in real life, im going with the Sleepys Warhammer Online windmill.

Honey I shattered the award for that award.

If big is little, it’s impossible for toy and shamber to get involved. Here a ladybug ferries a character across a book in Lost Ark. Neat!

Getting It Award for The Big Ten!

Don’t dissalamander ironsalamander8 in the FFXIV – the timing is what’s going on. The upside is that you’re going to get your death recorded by posterity.

The Outer Space Vista Prize is earned by the award.

Space may be cold, quiet, and full of everything but nothing, but Minimalistway managed to capture one of its more visually appealing sights with this online post.

    Nothing Is normal Here.

Nothing to see here, but Scott on a completely normal adventure, and even dull adventure, in FFXIV, with flying hippo flying on the moon.

    Fashion receives the Lethality Award.

RimaHadley channeled the spirit of Sailor Moon in this action-packed FFXIV photo. Don’t look at the arrow, you might be blind.

    Skybox Award

Drelkag was one of the very few people who took an early step into Ryzom and returned with proof. Maybe people saw such a skyboxes for this to check it out?

    A Scheduled Time Outward.

What do you take away from getting out of work? Hikari goes to Tower of Fantasy – which sounds like the best answer to this question.

Eyes deserve the Award from the Oscar.

Utakata spent too much time documenting adventures in Blade and Soul this year, but for my money, it’s still impossible to get that simple character portrait to the reader.

    Nuclear Sunset Award.

I’m not even concerned that LOTROs Middle-earth became no-so-existent, but at least Hirku-2 was around to capture the moment before all the Hobbits mutated.

Every week, One Shots highlights the best community-based action plans from the above-itse. Keep in mind that the photo is over 880px, and comes with a description or a story.
