Top 5 Meta Loadouts in Warzone 2 Season 5

The Season 5 update for Call of Duty: Warzone went live on August 2. Although there was some weapon balancing in the recent patch, the meta hasn’t changed that much. In this guide, I’ve listed the meta guns and their best loadouts in Season 5 of Warzone.

Warzone 2 Season 5 Meta Gun Loadouts

Battle Rifles and LMGs are still better than Assault Rifles as long-range weapons when it comes to time-to-kill (TTK). However, I haven’t put any LMG in my loadout recommendation as they’re sluggish.

1. TAQ-V and ISO 45 (Absolute Meta Loadout)

These are the best loadouts that I suggest using in Season 5 of Warzone 2. There are some other guns like M4, Lachmann-762, Lachmann Sub, and PDSW 528 that you can also give a try. The newly added FR Avancer is also a good sniper support weapon, but not as good as the Chimera.

Warzone 2 Season 5 Best Perks

Here are the perks that I believe are the best ones to add to your perk package.

• Perk 1: Overkill (essential if you want to carry two primary weapons)
• Perk 2: Double Time / Bomb Squad
• Perk 3: Fast Hands
• Perk 4: Birdseye / High Alert

After the update, Bomb Squad prevents you from getting down even if you’re stuck with a lethal. This makes it a great option alongside Double Time. Fast Hands is a no-brainer as the third perk, but you can also pick Restock. Finally, it’s a toss-up between Birdseye and High Alert. Professional players have been using Birdseye a lot recently, but I think High Alert is equally good. I haven’t listed Ghost here because you can find and equip Stealth Vest to stay hidden from UAVs. Also, consider using Quick Fix if you’re playing resurgence game modes on Vondel and Ashika Island.
