    The sequel to The Plague Tale: Requiem was released last year. The project received positive reviews from the press and the players, and technical specialists at Digital Foundry named A Plague Tale: Requiem one of the technically advanced 2022 games. Nevertheless, as Kevin Choto revealed in an interview with Eurogamer, A Plague Tale might never appear.

    Kevin Choto said in an interview that investigators who tested A Plague Tale: Innocence after two years of production, already at the stage of the final phase, criticized the project, namely: “An individual with the highest rank of ‘innocence’ / the first of two other people who had been on the stand with the finish of the project” / – had the time of a critical verdict.

    The game was a mess, it was terrible on the game’s game itself, story & gameplay; all nothing was perfect, nothing went wrong, everything worked out as it’s supposed to. And this was a huge blow to us.

    According to Choto, externe reviewers bluntly told the developers they can’t make games like that, and the score for the project before the release was 55-60 out of 100.

    When the Against the World: The Killer’s (A Plague Tale) team was faced with such a positive feedback, they put on development on hold. They decided that the move would not make sense to release such a game. After that, the developer examined their project with a careful plan, went from beginning to end, and sorted out what could be changed. Choto says in a question that the phrase “Much of the Plague”, that no innocent soul should have made an abrupt change at least half of any chapter. They changed everything from gameplay to dialogues, and added a number of more chapters to make the game look like a work.

    In an interview, Kevin Choto noted the merit of Focus Entertainment, which gave them nine months to produce the game.
