In the summer of 1987, Marvel Studios named her Attorney at Law in the movie Disney+, many fans were questioning the accuracy of the movies as it is compared to the comics that were based on. Unlike any other MCU series, that works very well on one of She-Hulk’s most prolific writers.

In a recent tweet, writer Dan Slott, who is most well-known for his work on Spider-Man comics, wrote for She-Hulk for a three-year stint in 2004-07, began to wonder whether the series was true.

You have a problem with the @ShehulkOfficial TV show. It’s not “comic” or “cool” a guy who has written more issues of SHE-HULK than anyone. An example of this thing is that it is the MOST comic-book correct show in the MCU.

Whoever said the TV show [She-Hulk] was not comic book accurate Im the guy who has written more issues of she-hulk than anybody, said Slott. I’ve read and admired every comic from Every She-Hulk run, and I guess it’s the MOST comic book-accurate show in the MCU.

In a follow-up tweet, Slott also put the blame on the now infamous scene of She-Hulk and Megan Thee Stallion twerking. According to Slott, which is a huge concern for the course for She-Hulk, and also what he compares with other writers and artists, having her jump rope in a bikini, as well as dancing, dancing, and dancing and karaoke. But as he says, the Avengers Mansion is structural damage.

People arguing that the twerking scene in #SheHulk wouldn’t have happened in the comicsByrne had She-Hulk jumping rope in a bikini. I had her karaokeing, dancing, & partying so hard it had caused structural damage to Avengers Mansion. This is the hill they wanted to die on?

While many fans tried to argue how accurate the show was, Slott has plenty of knowledge on this topic. Many fans may remain detesting the claim that the series is accurate, but at least according to someone very familiar with that matter, the She-Hulk series is the closest Disney+ shows to the comics.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now available to stream on Disney+.
