Genshin Impact Alhaitham Build Guide: Alhaitham Playstyle
Alhaitham is a DPS in the field who can apply Dendro reliably. Due to his time in the field, he is amazing at applying the propagation reaction, so it combines well with Electro supports. Alhaitham’s playstyle revolves around Chisel-Light Mirrors, floating diamonds that spawn from using his elemental ability.
These convert all of their auto attacks into Dendro damage and will also deal additional Dendro projection damage based on the number of Chisel-Light Mirrors spawned (max three). Unlocking his passive talent will allow you to create mirrors of chiseled light using charged and sinking attacks on a cooldown. Chisel-Light mirrors also affect the number of hits your Elemental Burst can land.

The best weapons for Alhaitham in Genshin Impact
Alhaitham’s choice of weapons is flexible, making it cheap to build. Due to his role as a spread DPS, he can benefit from weapons that increase elemental mastery, energy recharge, and personal damage.

The best artifacts for Alhaitham in Genshin Impact
For a Spread DPS build, Alhaitham requires Elemental Domain Arenasa Dendro’s Chalice of Damageand a Crit Rate/Damage Ring. For sub-stats, you should aim to increase his energy recharge, followed by critical/damage rate, attack, and elemental mastery as needed. You will need anywhere from 120 to 170 percent energy recharge depending on your team and your preferred rotation.
This build runs best with the following sets of artifacts:
- Golden Dreams (best in slots) – increases elemental mastery and attack, a perfect match for Alhaitham. This set works even better when another Dendro teammate is using Deepwood Memories.
- memories of the thicket – increases Dendro’s damage and decreases Dendro’s resistance of enemies, only one team member should have this set.
- Two-piece outfit alternatives – Combine two pieces from each of the two sets below to increase Dendro’s elemental mastery or damage if you can’t get good secondary stats for the above sets.

Best teammates for Alhaitham in Genshin Impact
Alhaitham is best paired with supports that can help him trigger reactions and increase his personal damage. Having an Electro support is an absolute must for him.
- electrical support – Choose a reliable Electro applicator to constantly activate Quicken. The best options are offfield supports like Kuki Shinobu, Yae Miko, and Dori. Fischl is also a great option. Avoid characters that demand time in the field, like Raiden Shogun.
- dendro support – Having another Dendro unit can carry the Deepwood Memories set and activate the passive Dendro resonance which increases EM. Nahida is a great choice.
