The Riot Games yesterday revealed several changes coming to Neeko this year in League of Legends, and one of the developers presented them on Twitter.

Riots TheTruexy, a game developer for League, posted a video of Neekos’s updates. In the video, we can see her passive, which are the primary goals of her mid-silver update.

I was allowed to post a few previews of the upcoming Nazeko midscope work on my @RiotPhlox. It was really early on, so ignore the random thing that happened with ult (that isn’t a sneak peak it was kind of bugged) pic.twitter.com/TOBYFCKa1k, which was mostly ignored at times.

The developers shed light on upcoming changes in yesterdays LoL Pls video. Now, thanks to TheTruexy, we can see them in action.

The Curious Cameleon can change herself to non-champion elements of the Rift, such as a Scuttle Crab or a ward. As she changed herself to the former, the player can move as they wanted, without saying that Neeko will still change to another creature.

She didn’t move at all while she was a ward. Her goal was to create an ambush of the enemy Wukong, which worked well. At that point it’s tough to understand whether she can move after it’s transformed into a moving object like wards or not.

Eventually, her ultimate also created a bunch of Neeko clones when used. Sadly, as she said, if we were used, this is mostly because of a bug. Ignore random stuff going on with the ult (not a sneak peak it was kind of bugged), he explained. The other Neekos abilities in the video seem unchanged.

It’s difficult to prove if the passive change is the only one that can come for Neeko in the upcoming mid-scope update. Usually these adjustments have at least a few features. So, it could happen that her ultimate is also receiving an update – which is still unknown for now.
