The company announced that this month that they have finally signed a new publishing agreement at the time of its 5th anniversary. The company confirmed that they penned a new deal with Bloober Team, a indie developer who specializes in horror movies. Along with that word they’re working on a completely new IP in secret, and also unveiling the Private Division Development Fund to support small independent development teams with “project financing and mentorship opportunities to self-publish their ambitious titles.” We have a few quotes from everyone involved with the offer about what it means for both companies.

We aim to work with leading independent studios to have their best talent and support their bold and creative ambitions, said Michael Worosz, Head of Strategy, Take-Two Interactive, and Head of Private Division. “Taking a new genre of portfolios is exciting to add one of Europe’s most successful independent teams to our talent-rich team.”

“Our next project is a new and exciting survival-horror game,” said Piotr Babieno, Chief Executive Officer of Bloober Team. “Thanks to the team of the Division of Private Affairs.” Their expertise is extensive, and the whole team is well-approachable, too. We don’t think that they’re typical “publisher-developer” relationships, rather they are like a friend who shows us support or keeps us on the line when we need them most.

“Finally after we announced Private Division five years ago, there are many promising game ideas from smaller teams that didn’t fit into our full-fledged publishing model”, said Blake Rochkind, head of business development at Private Division. “We knew we couldn’t simply create a single-size-fits-all approach in today’s world. I don’t like to say no to an insane game concept because of the size of this project. There are many best creative ideas in our industry that we need to get influenced by the Private Division Development Fund.
