Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge is pretty retro, yet a new update makes the nostalgia factor to eleven.

A story about the Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge, which opens its doors to Konami-mops. We reviewed it in June, and called it an absolute blast to play through from beginning to end, whether you’re alone or accompanied by friends. Now an update has added retro-styled bells and whistles.

You can improve the look of the game by using a VHS or CRT filter, and it looks like a old-school arcade. This is something I really appreciate. You can also tweak the game according to your heart, with the handy menu.

If you wonder what the hell is a dipswitche, you may have missed the arcade era. In essence, arcade owners could access hidden settings in machines to change the number of lives, speed and so forth. Ainsi, if a one coin coin came up on Street Fighter II, he could take the tricky up up to two.

The new update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge offers very similar results, allowing the game to be changed by a virtual burst of virtual spinswitches. For example, you can make it so you can drain your power or turn it off of the fire. It’s the matter of yours.

The update is coming out now, and the game is 20% off on Steam and the PlayStation Store. If you haven’t done that, its a good brawler, even if you haven’t put half of your pocket money into one of the Konamis coin-guzzlers.
