Strategem buffs and supply lines coming to Helldivers 2 in latest patch

    The Helldivers rejoice. The long-awaited patch 1,000,400 for Helldivers 2 has finally arrived and will undoubtedly leave its mark. It brings with it a real treat of balance changes, specifically in strategies, and interesting new features such as supply lines and the origin of attacks.

    The majority of the latest update to the hit third-person shooter focuses on improving and balancing several of the game’s main strategies and weapons. Developer Arrowhead Studios decided to push several notable stratagems after continued complaints from the player base, claiming that they were too weak and inconsistent across the board.

    Airstrike-focused strategies such as Orbital Gatling, Orbital Precision Strike, Orbital Airburst Strike, Eagle 110mm Rocket Pods, and Eagle Strafing Run have received improvements, whether it be lower cooldowns, faster call times, or damage or armor . penetration increases.

    Many of the main turrets in the game, such as the A/MG-43 Sentry machine gun, A/G-16 Gatling Sentry, A/MLS-4X Rocket Sentry, A/AC-8 Autocannon Sentry, and A/M- 12 Mortar Sentry. , A/M-23 EMS Mortar Sentry, have received durability boosts to prevent you from accidentally destroying them during chaotic firefights.

    The full patch notes also detail rifle-type bullet damage increases against durable body parts, changes to the BR-14 Adjudicator, AR-61 Tenderizer, PLAS-101 Purifier weapons, and much more. There are now also invite-only waiting rooms, allowing for a more personal Helldiving experience instead of public matchmaking.

    Galactic War map now features supply lines and attack origins

    Perhaps the most notable update in patch 1,000,400 for Helldivers 2 is the introduction of Supply Lines and Attack Sources to the game’s Galactic War map. Prior to the update, supply lines were omitted from the map to reduce clutter and improve readability. But after players indicated they would benefit from the feature, they will now appear on the map while maintaining visibility.

    Players will now also be able to see which planet an attack originates from, something that was not possible in the game before today’s update. This new feature gives Helldivers the ability to potentially stop the attack at its source. Looks like it’s time to nip things in the bud!
