We have finally gotten a trailer for the forthcoming Gran Turismo movie. Sony let the fans eat a little into a new movie adaptation of the popular racing simulation game.

Sony gives fans a first glimpse of the town of Gran Turismo.

Sony released the first trailer for the Gran Turismo video on the Consumer Electronics Show. There are currently two events coming to the Las Vegas convention center in Winchester, Nevada.

Sony got an hour-long show at the CES where they introduced a wide range of new products. Some of the show was dedicated to Gran Turismo where the creator of the game Kazunori Yamauchi spoke the entire time about racing simulations. Sony Pictures Entertainment President Sanford Panitch, Playstation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and director Neill Blomkamp staged the new trailer.

The new trailer shows actors Archie Madekwe, David Harbour and Orlando Bloom during the filming. The match is based on the story of famous racer Jann Mardenborough (Madekwe), a former player who retired from Gran Turismo. Harbour will play Jack Salter as the trainer, while Bloom portrays Jack Moore as the motorsport manager.

This trailer presents what looks like a beautiful recreation of the pig-fishing tower. The cinematography is based on the replay system found in GT7 and the tracks coming from race cars are also on point.

Neill Blomkamp and the actor Orlando Bloom set to the upcoming racing film.

Panitch revealed during the presentation that Playstation Productions is working on ten live-action adaptation projects in both movies and television series. He also stated that Gran Turismo has just finished filming the movie with Neill Blomkamp flying directly from the scene to the CES.

Blomkamp shared his sentiment toward the project, which is based on a real story in a deeply emotional relationship. The director adds that I love cars and was lucky to shoot high-adrenaline car photography in a way that really excited me.

Blomkamp revealed that cinematographers used Rialtos for their filming in the steering wheel. The tiny sensor blocks were used because the race cars had very cramped cockpits. The tiny camera was used, too, to film the interior, and to show a video taken at the Golden State Park, with a twist on the gameplay.

Asad Qizilbash, head of Playstation Productions, pointed out Sony’s approach toward the production of the live-action adaptation. We carefully considered how we appeal to the longtime fans and the newcomers as well. We have a better balance of Uncharted and I think we’ve achieved that very well,” said Qizilbash.

He says: “Most with Gran Turismo, we feel everything to do that can be all the right. This is a true story that you can tell a compelling story. It’s an onscreen experience that evokes the same emotional thrill as game games which give you, and also racing. And for PlayStation, we really wanted to capture the spirit and the energy of the game. Neill was the perfect filmmaker to do that.”

The filmmakers used tiny cameras to recreate the “real” political character of the Gran Turismo player in that film.

Sony has also introduced some new products like the PlayStation VR2 headset, but instead revealing the trailer of the new movie. The company also announced that Project Leonardo is developing a new controller with all-in-one accessibility features.

Sony also revealed that Sony’s Honda Mobility was founded by Honda. The project aims at developing electric cars. Sony unveiled its first prototype EV called the Afeela at the CES.

Sony presented its collaboration with Epic Games on the use of Unreal Engine 5. I believe that the company is not successful. We worked closely with them to deliver connected vehicle experiences, leading the way, not only in visual communications and safety, but also in entertainment.”
