RetroArch How to Enable local Multiplayer in Dolphin

Want to play with a friend and don’t know how to enable more than one player? Well, here’s a quick fix.

The Fix

Surprisingly it’s pretty easy. You should simply go to the RetroArch folder on steam (I guess you guys already know how to do it)

Once there go to the next location: RetroArch\saves\User\Config

There you will find some files. Open the one called Dolphin.ini

Now look for the line of text that says “SIDevice0 = 6”

Below that are other lines of text that say “SIDevice1 = 0”

All you need to do is change the “0” to a “6” as shown in the picture

Simply modify the file depending on how many devices you want to activate

SIDevice0: Player 1

SlDevice1: Player 2

SlDevice2: Player 3

SlDevice3: Player 4

If everything went well then you should already be able to play with more than one player enabled in Dolphin.
